Mrs. Phyllis Sue "Susie" Ladd Worrell

Mrs. Phyllis Sue "Susie" Ladd Worrell, 59, of Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on May 22, 1956 to the late Alfred Lee Ladd, Sr. and Ellen Frances Edwards Ladd. Mrs. Worrell was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Steve Worrell of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Billie and Robert Campbell; three sons, Tracey Wayne Worrell, Noetic Sebastian Jamal Mattox, Noble Said Justice Mattox; grandson, Brandon Eugene Johnson; two sisters, Janie Easter, and Mary Snow; four brothers, Bobby, Dunnie, Phillip, and Hankie Ladd; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Worrell was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Combs, and Brenda Irwin; a brother, Teddy Ladd. There will not be a formal visitation.
