Mrs. Polly Ann Cox Wood

Mrs. Polly Ann Cox Wood, age 78, of King, NC passed away on Tuesday evening October 28, 2014. She was born in the District of Columbia on March 12, 1936 to the late Wilmer Scott Cox and the late Mary Gragg Cox. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby George Wood., two sons Tommy Lee Miller and Chris Miller. She was retired from Wayne Farms. Surviving is her daughters and son-in-law Shannon and Chris Duggins of King, Danita Miller of Yadkinville; three sons William Chad Wood of Dobson, and Bobby Dean Wood of King, Jerry Miller of Boone; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother W. Scotty Cox. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday November 1, 2014 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with Chris Duggins officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 1, 2014 at Moody-Davis Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM until the time of her memorial service at 2:00 PM. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the memorial fund for Polly Ann Cox Wood C/O her daughter Shannon Wood Duggins 1040 Breezeway Dr. King, NC 27021. Moody-Davis is serving the Wood family.
