Mrs. Reba Lois Hill Gordon

Mrs. Reba Lois Hill Gordon, age 82, of Dobson, NC passed away on Tuesday morning September 29, 2015 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Surry Co. on May 25, 1933 to the late James Fred Hill and to the late Vena Belle Creed Hill. She was retired from Surry Telephone and was a member of the Dobson First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years Thomas Gladstone Gordon; two brothers James Wallace Hill and Arnold Creed Hill. Surviving is her two sons and daughters-in-law Larry Brian and Patricia Ashley Gordon of Wilkesboro, James Wallace “Wally” and Susan Beane Gordon of Winston Salem; three grandchildren Olivia “Nichole” Gordon and wife Rachel Gordon, Thomas Edward “Ted” & Emily Gordon, James “Clark” Gordon & partner Kate Vonallmen; five great-grandchildren Elizabeth Jane Gordon, Sean Edward Gordon, Elliyanna “Ellie” Daniell Gordon, Zayden Karl Gordon, Katarina Gordon; sisters-in-law Ruby Brook Hill of York SC, Nellie Waddell Hill of Dobson; special friends Jonathan and Norma Snow of Dobson. Funeral services will be held Friday 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Dobson First Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Dobson City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the Dobson First Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of her service at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers memorials contributions may be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27017 or to the Dobson First Baptist Church , 204 South Crutchfield St. Dobson, NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Gordon family.
