Mrs. Ruby Griffin Yandle

Mrs. Ruby Griffin Yandle, age 88, of Dobson, NC passed away on Sunday morning June 24, 2012 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born in Wilkes County on June 7, 1924 to the late Samuel and Amanda Parson Griffin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis L. Yandle; two sisters and three brothers. She was a retired spinning Operator at Chatham Manufacturing, and was a member of Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter Mary Yandle Bledsoe, of Dobson; four grandchildren Randy and Sharon Bledsoe, of Dobson, Darryl and Vivian Bledsoe, of Dobson, Tammy and Chris Dockery of Elkin, Kevin and Misty Bledsoe, of Dobson; Seven great-grandchildren Katie Bledsoe, Kendal Bledsoe, and Savannah Bledsoe, Sydney Dockery, and Riley Dockery, Jaiden Bledsoe and Korbin Bledsoe; sister-in-law Grace McBride, of Ft. Mill, SC; very special friend Janie Hamlin, of Dobson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday June 26, 2012 in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with burial to follow in the Griffin Family Cemetery in Millers Creek, North Carolina. Rev. Larry Stone will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of her service at 11:00 A.M...
