Mrs. Sadie Marie Marshall Pack

Mrs. Sadie Marie Marshall Pack, age 86 of 87 Farmers Road, Ararat, VA widower of Mr. Jessie Akers Pack passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born August 26, 1927 in Patrick County to the late James and Carrie Ann Nester Marshall. She was a member of Willis Gap Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Della Pack of Ararat, VA, Brenda and Robert Stevens, of Ararat, VA, three sons and a daughter-in-laws, Herbert Pack of Ararat, VA, James Lewis Pack of Ararat, VA, and Junior Pack and fiancée, Tammy Draughn of Ararat, VA and Wilma Pack, Ararat, VA, 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a sister, Estel Gunnell of Mt. Airy. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Pack was preceded in death bv two daughters, Shirley Pack, an infant daughter and a son, Glenn Ray Pack, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Willis Gap Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Billy Stegall and Rev. Rayton Puckett. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home
