Mrs. Sandra Sue Snow Collins

Mrs. Sandra Sue Snow Collins, age 70 went to her heavenly home on Tuesday night June 16, 2015. She was born in Surry Co. on November 13, 1944 to the late Virgil Snow and the late Ora Johnson Snow. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Collins; three sisters Virginia Kerley, Jessie Elder, and Juanita Holst. She was a member of Union Hill Friends Meeting, and was a retired cosmetologist. Surviving is her two daughters and sons-in-law Vickie and Don Branch of Dobson, Sheila and Tommy Bowman of Pilot Mountain; one son and daughter-in-law Steven and Misti Collins of Dobson; six grandchildren Josh Bingman, Jessica Bingman and Jay Lara, Brandy Bowman, Brooke Bowman, Savannah Collins, and Corbin Collins; one great-grandchild Hadley Bingman; three brothers and sisters-in-law Billy and Carol Snow of Dobson, Jerry and Carol Snow of Elkin, Jimmy and Shirley Snow of Winston-Salem; sister-in-law Brenda Collins Hardy and husband Donnie Hardy of Dobson; special friend Ramona Wright of Dobson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday June 19, 2015 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ricky Martin and Rev. Jay Worsley will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
