Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth "Tottie" Goins Jones

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth "Tottie" Goins Jones, age 90 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on September 12, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Allen Jones; two sons, Paul Thomas Jones and Leon Allen Jones; a great-granddaughter, Alli Lane Turner; her parents, Bill Overby and Pearl Goins Overby Brown; one sister, Irene Overby; and one brother, Andrew Overby. Mrs. Jones was a member of Stuart Church of Christ in Dry Pond. She enjoyed quilting.

Mrs. Jones is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd and Patricia Jones, Junior and Wanda Jones, Larry and Patricia Jones, all of Stuart, Ann Overby Jones of Westfield, North Carolina; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Lynn Shouse, Judy and Bobby Gardner, all of Stuart, Robin and Bobby Pack of Westfield; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with James Percival and Aaron Blackard officiating. Burial will follow in the Stuart Church of Christ Cemetery in Dry Pond. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the home.
