Mrs. Shirley Wilson Martin

Mrs. Shirley Wilson Martin, age 75, of Elkin, NC passed away at her home on Thursday June 19, 2014. She was born in Surry County on September 12, 1938 to the late Grady and Delphia Viola Draughn Wilson Wilmoth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Martin; a sister Frances Wilson Wilmoth. She was a self employed beautician and was a member of Salem Fork Christian Church. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 5:00 P.M. Sunday June 22, 2014 in the cemetery of Salem Fork Christian Church Cemetery. Rev. Austin Caviness will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:30 until time of her graveside service. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Salem Fork Christian Church 2490 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27017.
