Mrs. Sylvia Boyles Smith

Mrs. Sylvia Boyles Smith, 66, of Ararat, VA passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Surry County on July 3, 1948 to the late Sylvester Warren and Mary Margaret Chandler Boyles. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Dan Henry Smith of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Dan and Penny Taylor Smith of Pilot Mountain, Kevin Henry and Pamela Renea Smith of Ararat, VA; grandchildren, Taylor Danielle Smith, and Ashley Jo Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen Boyles of Ararat, VA, David and Joyce Boyles, Randy Boyles, Ken and Lisa Boyles, Kirk and Sylvia Boyles all of Mt. Airy; many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Smith Family Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Love and her son Joseph Smith officiating. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Airy Dialysis Center, 1280 Newsome St., Mt.
