Mrs. Sylvia Lake Waddell Snow

Mrs. Sylvia Lake Waddell Snow, age 94 of Wytheville, VA, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Wytheville. Mrs. Snow was born in Wythe County on June 20, 1920 to Dave Edward and Dona King Waddell. She was a loving mother and grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be dearly missed. Surviving are grandchildren, Rena Bowers, Jerri Webb and Bill Bane; great grandchildren, Lindsey Bane, Hannah Bane, Taylor Bane, Lena Williams and Isaac Webb and a great-great grandchild, Laylah Faye Gross; a special niece, Kathy Bishop and a dear friend, Joseph Hand. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her husband, Parlie "Ivo" Snow and her son, H. D. Bane. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Lee Johnson. There will not be a formal visitation.
