Mrs. Viola Carlile Napier

Mrs. Viola Carlile Napier age 84 of 3537 Ararat Road, Ararat, NC wife of Mr. Thomas Jefferson Napier passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at her home. She was born January 21, 1930 in Gainsboro, TN to the late Lige K. Carlile and Hattie Lynn Carlile. She was former owner and operator of Thomas Napier Cabinet Making and a member of the Dobson Church of God. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Jefferson Napier of the home: four daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Arvidson, of Mt. Airy, Kathy and Gary Watson of Mt. Airy, Constance and Richard Grubb of Ararat, NC and Debbie and Jim Corday of Royersford, PA.; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Carrie Napier of Charlotte; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Veachel and Fred Maynard of Madison, TN and a brother, Pastor Floyd Carlile, Atlanta, GA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Napier was preceded in death by a brother, Dibral Carlile. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Dobson Church of God. The service will be conducted by Rev. Homer Loudermilk. Burial will follow in the Dobson Church of God Cemetery/ The family will receive friends 12:30 pm Saturday until time of the service at Dobson Church of God.
