Mrs. Willie Mae Bateman Billings

Mrs. Willie Mae Bateman Billings, age 76, of State Road, NC, passed away on Sunday morning March 1, 2015 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born February 11, 1939 to the late Lizzie Mae Bateman. She was a retired CNA and a member of Gum Orchard Baptist Church. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by three brothers Jimmy, Calvin, and Horace Bateman.

Surviving is her husband Charles Raymond "Ray" Billings of the home; daughter and son-in-law Robin Waddell and Ted Lysen of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren William Steven Hawkins and Alisha Hawkins of Mtn. Park, Robert Shane Hawkins of Mtn. Park, Delanda Mae Carter of Winston Salem; great grandchildren Desiree Leighanne Hawkins, Serenity Lily Grace Hawkins; sister Liz Weatherman of Trinity Texas. A graveside service will be held Monday March 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Zephyr Cemetery, Rev. Joe Lambert and Rev. Tony White will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Monday March 2, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of her service at 2:00 P.M. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Moody-Davis Funeral Home to help with the final expense.
