Mrs. Wilma Lee Austin Haynes

Mrs. Wilma Lee Austin Haynes, 63 of Cana, VA passed away at her home Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was born in Wythe County, VA on June 21, 1950 to the late James Edward and Pauline Dunford Austin. Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lou Ann Semones of Laurel Fork, Vickie Haynes and husband, Perry of Ararat, Peggy Haynes of Cana and Amanda Haynes and fiancé, Jamey Ayers of the home; a son, John Haynes of Cana; seven grandchildren; sisters, Jean Cox and husband, Nelson of Hillsville and Linda Riggins and husband, Larry of Max Meadows, VA; brothers, Peaty Austin and wife, Phyllis and Bobby Austin and wife, Betty all of Austinville, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Kenneth Haynes, sisters, Brenda McMillian, Louise Crotts and a son-in-law, Ray Semones. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
