Mrs. Zinnia Smith Chrissman

Mrs. Zinnia Smith Chrissman, 89 of Winston Salem formally of Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on April 9, 1924 to the late Charles and Virginia Smith. Mrs. Chrissman was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Richard Runci of Mass.; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Suzanna Chrissman of Winston Salem; a granddaughter, Shannon Criscola and her husband Robert; three great grandchildren, Sam, William and Charlie Criscola; a brother, Baxter Smith of Hickory; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chrissman was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Gunnell; a brother, Osler Smith. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Buford Jessup officiating.
