Mrs. Barbara June Harrison White Hawks, age 78, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away on Tuesday evening June 19, 2012 at the Joan & Howard Woltz
Hospice Home, surrounded by her kids. She was born in Elk Horn West Virginia on January 20, 1934 to the late Garnie Harrison and Edna Luca
Harrison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Hoover White, her last husband Mack Hawks; one sister
Hope Capps; two brothers Bucky Harrison and Doug Harrison. She was a retired CNA from Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. Surviving
are her two daughters and son-in-law Mitizi White of Mt. Airy, Gayle and Ottis Holt of Mt. Airy; two sons Roddy White of Dobson and Hoover
"Skip" White, Jr Caregiver to his mother till the end. ; three grandchildren Denise White Tayson, Ronald Holt, Jr. and Michael Holt; six great grandchildren; three brothers Neil Harrison of Mt. Airy, Allen Harrison of Dobson, Lee Harrison of Texas. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday June 22, 2012 in the chapel of
Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Union Cross Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Marty Reece will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. The family would
