Ms. Barbara Ann Robertson Hunter

Ms. Barbara Ann Robertson Hunter, age 59, of Willis, Virginia passed away on July 30, 2014 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Forsyth County on June 21, 1955 to Imogene Mae Robertson Reeves and the late Lonnie Robertson. Ms. Hunter worked as a Nurses Aide at Colonial Care Rest Home and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Lori Hunter and fiancé Robert Moran, of Willis, Virginia; two sons, Jerry and fiancé, Connie Anderson and Jimmy and wife Angie Hunter, all of Mount Airy; her mother, Imogene Mae Robertson Reeves; eight grandchildren, Haley and Madison Moran, John Hunter, Ellen Hunter, Jason Hunter, Jeremy Hunter, Jacob Hunter and Kristin Hunter; and nine brothers and sisters, Ray Robertson, Dennis Robertson, Ronnie and wife Vickie Reeves, Van Reeves, David and wife Kim Reeves, Michael Reeves and Phillip Reeves; two sisters, Brenda Robertson and Linda Gumpert. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her life-long companion. Jerry Weddle. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at New Life Baptist Church by the Rev.
