Ms. Blanche Gordon Heath

Ms. Blanche Virginia Gordon Heath, age 86, of Dobson, NC passed away on Sunday evening May 6, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center, in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Surry County on July 5, 1925 to the late Robert Cleveland Gordon and the late Nancy Lee Norman Gordon. She was a member of Rocky Ford Baptist Church and was retired from the Mt. Airy Furniture Co.. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Harvey Raymond Heath, Jr.; five sisters and two brothers. Surviving are one daughter Nancy Ella Pressnell of the home; three grandchildren Carie Pressnell Beck of Mt. Airy, Brian Raymond Pressnell of Dobson, John Henry and Katie Heath of Dobson; and two great grandchildren Camble Beck and Logan Pressnell. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Rocky Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Claude Lloyd will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of her service at 3:00 P.M..
