Ms. Deborah Ann Bowman

Ms. Deborah Ann Bowman, age 44, of Claudville, Va., passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Bowman was born in Surry County on February 21, 1973 to Barbara Ann Bowman. She was a retired Dispatcher with Patrick County Sheriff’s office and she was also an announcer on WHEO radio in Stuart. Deborah will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Left to always cherish her memory is her mother and step father, Barbara Ann and Leonard Bishop; and her loving poodles, Dale Ray, Cloie Mae and Maggie Mae; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Ms. Bowman was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert, Sr. and Mabel Jessup Bowman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy by Rev. Monte Mitchell. Burial will follow in Unity Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, one hour prior to the service.
