Ms. Delores Ann Cox

Ms. Delores Ann Cox, 69 of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born on October 16, 1944 in Wythe County, VA to the late Howard Lee and Gladys Alley Burchette. Ms. Cox is survived by her son, Keith Cox; two granddaughters, Kristie Cox and Megan Trotter and husband, Jeremey; great grandchildren, Arianna King, Angel Sawyers and Alexis Trotter; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda and Carl King, Mildred Walker and Diane Jones; three brothers, Pete Burchette, Robert Burchette and Duane Burchette and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cox was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Lineback and a brother, Walter Burchette. There will be no formal visitation or service at the funeral home. A private service will be held at a later date by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for memorials to be sent to Moody Funeral Home, PO Box 1288, Mt.
