Ms. Ella Susan "Sue" Boyd

Ms. Ella Susan "Sue" Boyd, age 62 of Stuart, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Martinsville on December 19, 1951 to the late Robert Douglas Boyd and Dorothy Edna Reynolds Boyd. In addition to her parents, Ms. Boyd was preceded in death by a son, Matthew James Boyd; two granddaughters, Racheal Neal Boyd and Brooke Michelle Boyd; and two sisters, Janet Marshall and Judy Mandiale. Ms. Boyd had worked with United Elastic for 40 years; and had delivered the Roanoke Times for 15 years. She was a sweet loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and was loved by all who knew her.
Ms. Boyd is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Adkins of Stuart, Elizabeth Boyd Gonzalez of Patrick Springs and Samantha Surratt of Hillsville; three granddaughters, Sydney Surratt, Sarah Boyd and Jakelynn Boyd; three step grandsons, Justin Hylton, William Hylton and Jacob Howell; two great granddaughters, Sophia Hylton and Heaven Hylton; one brother, James Boyd of Radford; two sisters, Roberta Pascale and husband, Joe of Meadows of Dan and Dorothy Robertson and husband, Mike of Collinsville and several nieces and nephews.
