Ms. Eva Sue Collins

Ms. Eva Sue Collins, 86 of Mt. Airy passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. She was born in Surry County on March 1, 1928 to the late Roy and Abigail Cockerham Collins. Ms. Collins retired from Bassett Furniture after 50 years of service. She is survived by a special niece, Betty Leftwich and husband, Gary; a special great niece Leigh Anne Jackson and husband, Marty; “grandchildren” Tanner and Abbi Jackson; nephews, W.L. Collins, Don Moss, Ronnie Riggs and Mike Moss. In addition to her parents, Ms. Collins was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Rigney and Dorothy Riggs; brothers, Cleve and Harvey Collins; a special niece, Elaine Moss and her best friend, Josie Collins.
