Ms. Helen Louise Dearmin Inman

Ms. Helen Louise Dearmin Inman age 88 of Mount Airy, died at the Northern Hospital of Surry County on Monday April 16, 2012. Ms. Inman was born in Stokes County, October 19, 1923, the daughter of the late Fletcher Vance and Clarice Simmons Dearmin. Ms. Inman was secretary for Inman Electric Company for over 50 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Airy for over 50 years. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Sonnie and Johnny Sanders of Mount Airy; one son, Herbert Vance Inman of Mount Airy; her grandchildren; Scott Sanders of Raleigh, Christie and Eric Warren of Mooresville, Daniel and Jenna Inman of Mount Airy, and Andrew and Jordan Inman of Pilot Mountain. Her great grandchildren, Eric Scott Warren, and Emily Claire Warren both of Mooresville, NC, Jackson Scott Sanders of Smithville, NC, and Easton Inman of Pilot Mountain, NC. One brother, Fletcher Vance Dearmin, Jr. of Westfield, NC. In addition to her parents, Ms. Inman was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Sue Slate. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the First Baptist Church with the service conducted by Rev. Steve Ayers. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will visit in the Fireside Room at First Baptist Church on Wednesday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care 401 Technology Lane Mount Airy, NC 27030 or to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 714 North Main St. Mount Airy, NC 27030. Moody Funeral Service is serving the Inman Family. The Inman family would like to say a special thanks to her personal caregivers, the staff of Ridgecrest Retirement Center and the Skilled Care Unit of Northern Hospital of Surry County.
