Ms. Joanne R. Lovill

Ms. Joanne Roten Lovill, age 61 of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday December 2, 2014 at her home. Ms. Lovill was born in Alleghany County on June 17, 1953 to Coy Roten and Emma Lea Edwards Rector. She was a loving homemaker who dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Glenn Gilbert; a son and daughter-in-law John Lovill and Jennifer Lovill; grandchildren, Ashleigh Gilbert, Kaine Lovill, Kamber Lovill and Kaebyn Lovill; a sister, Michelle Rector; a brother, Mitchell Rector and her step father, Thomas Rector. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeff Carpenter. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moody Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
