Ms. Muriel Boyles Wood

Ms. Muriel Boyles Wood Age 82 of Claudville, VA. passed away Friday May 17, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. Ms. Wood was born July 19, 1930 in Patrick County, VA. to the late William Virgil and Lillie McMillian Boyles, she was employed by Central Telephone Co. for 13 Years and also Proctor Silex for 27 Years. Surviving is one son Thomas B. Wood, III. Of Atlanta, GA, several grandchildren, one sister Mary Lou Richardson of Walnut Cove and one brother Donald E. Boyles of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents Ms. Wood was preceded in death by her husband Thomas B. Wood, II, three sisters Bonnie Worley, Susan Blansett, and Ellen M. Slate and by two brothers William H. (Bill) Boyles and James T. Boyles. Graveside services will be held Sunday May 19, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at The Peoples Church Cemetery with services conducted Rev. Randy Wall. The family will receive friends Sunday at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 3:00 P.M. until time for the graveside service.
