Ms. Myrtle Ruby Gregory

Ms. Myrtle Ruby Gregory, age 89 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. She was born in Patrick County on October 21, 1925 to the late Edward Duncan Gregory and Mary Alice Massey Gregory. In addition to her parents, Ms. Gregory was preceded in death by one daughter, Alice Gregory; two sons, Clinton Gregory, Jr. and Bobby Gregory; a grandson, Christopher Gunter; six brothers, Columbus, Ralph, Guy, Paul, Jess and James Gregory; and four sisters, Kathleen Gunter, Lessie Thomason, Daisy Byrd and Eleanor Gunter. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Ms. Gregory is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Gregory of Spencer; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Karen Gregory of Stuart, Tim and Victoria Gregory of North Carolina, Eddie and Jessica Gregory of Stuart; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Gregory of Stuart; one sister-in-law, Ruby Gregory, formerly of Stuart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will follow in the High Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
