Ms. Nellie Gay Linville

Ms. Nellie Gay Linville, age 72, of Dobson, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem following a lengthy illness. She was born in Carroll Co. VA to the late Richard and Artha Lineberry Linville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Barbara Epperson; two sons Glen Gwyn Jr. and Robert Lee Gwyn; five sisters Lois Potts, Mary Lineberry, Mamie Crotts, Stella Sexton, Bertha Delby; two brothers Carl Lineberry and Roby Linville. Ms. Linville was a homemaker and was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed greatly by family and friends. Surviving is her significant other Bill Potts of the home; one daughter and son-in-law Sara and Mark Marion of Dobson; four grandchildren Angela and Jason Hinson, Carla Brame, Molly Marion, Morgan and Joe Lambert; six great grandchildren Luke Hinson, Hope Hinson, Bree Brame, Macee Brame, Mason Wood and Max Lambert; one sister Corina Sechrist of Mt. Airy; one brother Leroy Rdale Linville of Mt. Airy. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday in the cemetery of Snow Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Johnson conducting. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and at other times at the home of her daughter Sara Marion.
