Ms. Patty Faye Brooks

Ms. Patty Faye Brooks age 65, of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at her residence.  She was born in Ithaca New York on September 24, 1956, to the late Richard “Dick” Carl Brooks and Mary Sue Vernon Veit.  Ms. Brooks was a kind and loving person who had an unforgettable smile.  She was a long-time health care worker for many years in nursing facilities all throughout Surry County.  Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Tamara “Tammy” Veit; a special aunt, Sylvia Gentry; and several cousins.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Brooks was proceeded in death by her stepfather, Charles Gaylord Veit, III.  There will be no formal service or visitation for Patty.  Moody Funeral Service in Mount Airy is serving the Brooks family.
