Ms. Sandra Lee Branscome Sidden

Ms. Sandra Branscome Sidden, age 69 of Mount Airy, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Sidden was born in Surry County on June 19, 1946 to the late Robert Warren Branscome and Betty Mae Gibson Branscome. She was of the Baptist faith. All knew her well for her home interior business that brought much love and joy to her. She received many awards and trips over the years through her outstanding sales. Another milestone, Sandra along with her father Warren were also the developers of Meadowland acres – a Manufactured Home Community in business since 1989. Sandra’s greatest victory in life was beating breast cancer in 1989 to the love and joy of her four granddaughters. She is survived by her loving daughter and a son-in-law, Gina Eads Barnes and her husband Tony of Belews Creek; a loving son and daughter-in-law, Chris Eads and his wife Lee Anne of Mount Airy; four loving granddaughters, Whitney Sheets and Andrew Beane, Courtney Sheets Ayers and her husband Chris, Leah Eads, and Lexi Lee Eads all of Mount Airy; and a great-granddaughter, Dixie Ayers of Mount Airy; special friends, Marsha Felts and Samantha Welborn; special fur babies, Stevie and BoBo; and her grand dogs, Daisy, Minnie and Mickey. In addition to her parents, Ms. Sidden was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Ray Branscome. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Rev. Barry Clement and Rev. Charles Powers. Interment will follow the service in the White Plains Friends Meeting Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday night April 27, 2016 at the funeral home from 6 until 8 PM and at other times at the home of her son, Chris Eads 659 Siloam Rd, Mount Airy, NC 27030. The family would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to the 8th Floor General and Palliative Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center.
