Ms. Shannon W. Graves

Ms. Shannon Marie Wilmoth Graves, age 43 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014. Ms. Graves was born in Surry County on July 31, 1971 to Laura M. Pack Wilmoth and the late Donald G. Wilmoth. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. Surviving are daughters, Brooke Graves and fiancé Daniel Arrington; Danielle Ayers; her precious grandbaby, Ava Liann Arrington; her significant other, Roger Ayers; her mother, Laura M. Pack Wilmoth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Angela and Danny Golding and Robin and Greg Slate; brothers and sister-in-law, Lee Wilmoth and Dustin and Amanda Wilmoth and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 6, 2014 at Mount Airy First Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Joey Smith and Rev. Brian Frazier. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home.
