Ms. Shannon Carroll Sawyers

Ms. Shannon Carroll Bingman Sawyers age 44 of Dodson Mill Road, Pilot Mountain, NC passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1970 in Surry County to Charles Bingman and Janice Wheeler Turney. She had worked as a phlebotomist with Mt. Airy Dialysis Center. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Meagan Dakota and Kyle Sammons of Savanah, GA, a son and daughter-in-law, Dylan Blaize and Priscilla Brintle of Pilot Mountain, mother, Janice Wheeler Turney of Pilot Mountain, father, Charles Bingman of Roanoke, VA, a brother and sister in law, Jason and Lisa Bingman of Westfield, NC, nieces, Kira and Cheyenne Bingman both of Westfield. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
