Ms. Susan Rae Horton

Ms. Susan Rae Horton, age 40 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Hillsville, VA. She was born in Patrick County on November 6, 1973. Susan was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Horton and her maternal grandfather, Mr. Lee Young. She was a member of Main Street Pentecostal Holiness Church located in Hillsville, VA.
Ms. Horton is survived by two daughters, Savannah Victoria Horton and Kristen Rae Horton; her father, James Douglas Horton; her mother Betty Jo Stanley; four brothers, Jamie Douglas Horton, James Daniel Horton, Billy Gene Bradley, and Kenneth Lee Stanley; one sister, Angela Faye Horton; her grandmother, Eula Young.
Funeral services for Ms. Horton will be held Tuesday March 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Jeff Pickett officaiting. Burial will be private.
