Myrtle Irene Ward

Mrs. Myrtle Irene Jenkins Ward, age 85, of Mt Airy, passed away on September 23, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  She was born October 13, 1932 to the late Erva and Gladys Jenkins. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Raymond Ward of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Brenda Ward, David and Karen Ward, Greg and Diane Ward; grandchildren, Kimberly, Mike, Amanda and Heather Ward and a sister Norma Theuring.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters as well as a grandson Jake Ward.  There will be no formal services at the funeral home at this time.
