Noreen Carol Lewinski Niten

Mrs. Noreen Carol Lewinski Niten, 70, of Ararat, VA, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Niten was born June 10, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, to Matilda Lewinski. She was retired from Spencer's Inc. Surviving are a special niece, Barbara Niten; and several great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Niten was preceded in death by her husband, John Boyer Niten; and a daughter, Madonna Marie Niten. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Barnard Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Vass. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
