Mrs. Opal Mae Fain Wilson (Mas), age 81, of Stuart, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family May 27, 2025 at Sovah Health in Martinsville. Opal was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister known to many by the name “Mas,” lovingly given to her by her granddaughters. She was the owner and talented seamstress of Special Events Evening Wear, commonly recognized as “the dress lady.” Opal enjoyed any occasion to dress up and take her granddaughters shopping, and made cooking a large meal for the family look effortless.
