Oscar Alcantara-Luna

Comedian Oscar Rene Alcantara-Luna, 28, of Dobson, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at his home.  Rene Alcantara-Luna was born March 29, 1993, in Mexico, to Alberto Alcantara and Celia Luna Rosas.  Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Celia Luna Rosas; two sisters, Ana Alcantara Luna and Susy Alcantara-Luna; a brother, Jesus Alcantara Luna; along with two half-siblings, Julio Cesar Alcantara and Fernanda Alcantara.  Rene Alcantara-Luna was preceded in death by his father, Alberto Alcantara.   A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 4, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
