Ottis Gerome Lowe

Mr. Ottis Gerome Lowe, 80, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Central Continuing Care after a lengthy illness.  He was born September 12, 1943, in Surry County, the son of the late Romey and Faye Lowe Lowe.  Ottis retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation after 40 years of service.  He is survived by his wife, Marsha Semones Lowe; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Jayna Lowe and Bryan and Molly Lowe; two grandchildren, Jackson Graves and Addison Graves; a brother and sister-in-law, Carlie and Betty Lowe; his mother-in-law, Beulah Midkiff Inman; and his special friend and Brother in Christ, Cecil Stanley.  All services will be private. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
