Patsy Ruth Berrier

Mrs. Patsy Ruth McBride Berrier, 70, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.  Mrs. Berrier was born in Surry County on April 24, 1952, to the late Fred and Annie York McBride.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.  She is survived by her husband, Curtis “Dean” Berrier; daughters and sons-in-law, Vonda and Pete Westmoreland, Rhonda and Jimmy Ashburn; grandchildren, Austin Westmoreland and Kassidy Tucker, Chloe Westmoreland, Zachary and Caitlin Ashburn; a brother-in-law, Glen Berrier; sisters and brothers-in-law, Freda and Jim Holder, Barbara and Raymond Senter, Judy Edwards; a brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Martha McBride; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Berrier was preceded in death by a sister, Carol McBride.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Wall and Mr. Mike Marshall officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
