Patsy Bales Harris

Mrs. Patsy Bales Harris, age 83, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Richlands, Virginia, on October 8, 1942, to the late Grover Cleveland Bales and Ruby Jones Bales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Graham Harris; her daughter, Deanna Rogers; her sisters, Hazel Lozada, Juanita Dillard; and her brother, Alvin “Bubby” Dillard. Patsy was a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family. She will be fondly remembered for her joyful spirit, her sense of adventure, and the happiness she brought to those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Regina (James) Breeding of Stoneville, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Brandon (Ashley) Breeding, Michael (Samie) Breeding, Joshua Reedy, and Matthew Rogers; three great-grandchildren, Liam Breeding, Lainey Breeding, and Emery Breeding; and one brother, Bobby Bales. A memorial service to celebrate Patsy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Worship Center in Stuart, Virginia.
