Patsy Ann Holt

Ms. Patsy Ann Smith Holt, age 76 of Chapel Hill, NC, passed away at her home on Wednesday evening September 27, 2023.  She was born on October 30, 1946, in Surry County to the late Fletcher James Smith and Myrtle Miranda Matthews Smith.  She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.  Patsy loved nothing more than spending time with her boys and the grandchildren.  If it didn’t involve family, she didn’t want to do it.  Left to cherish her memory are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Amanda Holt, and Brad and Malka Sinwany Holt; grandchildren, Jakob and Sadie Holt, Maggie Holt, Gilad Holt, and Bella Holt; sisters and a brother-in-law, Rebecca and Linwood Gammons, and Mildred Peeples; several nieces and nephews; and Bill Holt who was her ex-husband but remained her good friend and caregiver over the past few years.  Graveside services will be held on Monday October 9, 2023, at 10:30am in the Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev. Richard Loman officiating.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
