Peggy Gentry Comer

Mrs. Peggy Lou Gentry Comer, age 89, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Dunmore Plantation. She was born November 19, 1932, in Surry County to the late Early Frank Gentry and the late Zephyr Steele Gentry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Porter Comer; her son, Mark Comer; her sister, Jewell Hiatt; and her brother, Allen Gentry. Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughter-in-law, Eric and Bessie Comer and Wyatt Comer; grandchildren, Joshua Comer, Dean Comer, Sam Comer and AshleyJones; eight great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Mrs. Comer was a member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Surry Community College. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 1029 Crossroads Church Road, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Comer Family.
