Peggy Miranda Edwards Cox

Mrs. Peggy Miranda Edwards Cox, age 75, of Pilot Mountain, NC passed away on Wednesday May 24, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem NC.  She was born in Forsyth County on August 15, 1947, to the late Walter Wilburn Edwards and the late Gladys Spainhour Edwards Richardson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Ray Cox; great-grandchildren, Waylon Garrettt Snow and Daxton Gray Snow; sisters, Vadie Hiatt, Wanda Vogler; brothers, Carl Edwards, William Richardson, Calvin Edwards.  She had attended Friendly Chapel Church, was retired from Pilot Hosiery Mill.  Surviving are her children, Janice Hunt and her fiancé Chris Arrowood, Johnny Snow and fiancée Deborah Thomas, step-son, Jeff and Becky Cox; grandchildren, Austin Snow and fiancée Jessica Echerd, Christian Hunt, Ashley and Chris Noonkester, Trinity Thomas, Tyler Arrowood, David Arrowood, Justin Arrowood, Samantha Rich; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Adison, Adalynn, Aden, Skylar, Kensley, Sadie, Kyler, Gracie, Arabella, Cheyenne, Zander, Olivia, Chloe, Lucas, Iris, Kira, Jase; sisters and brother-in-law, Frances and Junior Hicks, Becky Barber, Carolyn Parker.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday May 26, 2023, in the Cemetery of Cedar Hill Primitive Baptist Church. Rev. D.C. Collins will officiate the service.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 12:30 PM until time to go to the Cemetery.
