Peggy Jean Galyean Holbrook

Mrs. Peggy Jean Galyean Holbrook, age 59, of Booneville, NC, passed away on Wednesday night July 19, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born May 18, 1964, in Allegheny County to the late Ivy Jay Galyean and Barbara Jean Taylor Galyean.  Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Karen Galyean Lane, Pete Galyean and wife JoAnn, Geary Galyean and wife Alania, and Buck Galyean; several nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; a special friend, Jerry Mcewen; and a host of other family and friends.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holbrook was preceded in death by her husband, Butch Holbrook.  A service of worship and celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Saturday July 22, 2023, at 3:00PM at Swaims Baptist Church, 3919 Swaims Church Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
