Peggy Sue Owen Mahone

Ms. Peggy Sue Owen Mahone, age 76, of Ararat, North Carolina passed away at her residence on Friday, September 5, 2025. Ms. Mahone was born in Surry County, March 2, 1949, to the late Paul Alfred Owen and Cora Pack Owen. She was a loving soon to be wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend, she’ll be deeply missed by all who knew her. Surviving is her fiancé and care giver, Danny Wall; children, Ronald Matthew Speaks, Michael Mahone, James Wall, Jennifer Lunsfore, Jessica Williams; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Paul Owen, Mickey Owen; special friend, Deborah York. In addition to her parents, Ms. Mahone was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Mahone; brothers, Bill Owen, Richard Owen.
