Peggy Rollings Wade

Mrs. Peggy Monica Rollings Wade, age 98, of Mount Airy, passed away on October 29, 2026. She was born on October 10, 1928, in Peterborough, England, to the late Robert Frank and Mable Kendrick Rollings. Mrs. Wade served in the British Army under Montgomery command after WWII. She then married the love of her life, Charles C. Wade, on May 5, 1951. Mrs. Wade spent her spare time enjoying singing, knitting, sewing and various other crafts. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karl Wade (Vanessa Dillon Wade), and Karen Wade Nussman (Wayne Nussman); grandchildren, Andrew and Toni Wade, and Matthew and Jessica Wade; and great-grandchildren, Emma Wade and Eben Wade; along with many nieces and nephews and her Scotty dogs that she loved immensely. Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles C. Wade. A special thanks to Twelve Oaks staff and friends who were there for her until the end of life, also, a special thanks to Liberty Hospice who made this journey more bearable. There will be no formal services at this time.
