Penny Sue Mansfield

Ms. Penny Sue Parish Mansfield, 54 of Ararat, NC, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018, at her home.  Ms. Mansfield was born September 20, 1963, in Detroit, MI, to and Lorene Hodge Chandler.  Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Nicole Mansfield and Dereck Berger of Michigan, Natalie Mansfield of Michigan, Natasha Pennell and husband James of South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Chasity Mansfield, Adrian Pennell, Autumn Mansfield, Alexander Berger, Jamie Mansfield, Brandon Berger, and Evelyn Mansfield-Berger; her mother, Lorene Hodge Chandler; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Edward Parish of Michigan, and William and Myra Parish of North Carolina; and a sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Artie Owens of Michigan; a special friend and father of her children, William “Bill” Mansfield.  Ms. Mansfield was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Ray Chandler.  There are no local services planned.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is in charge of the cremation and serving the family.
