Mr. Petrus (Peter) Kuper, age 101, of Stuart, Virginia passed away on August 14, 2026 at the Landmark Center in Stuart. He was born on May 29,1925 to the late Johan Antonius Kuper and Petronella Mansvelt Kuper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Mayke VanGulick Kuper, and all of his 3 brothers, John, Theo, and Gerald Kuper, and 5 sisters, Joke Kuper Hoelen, Elly Kuper Van lerlant, Riet Kuper Crusio, Meece Kuper Van Bladel, Vicky Goosen.

Peter Kuper was a hardworking dedicated Christian man who served in the Dutch Army in WW2. He retired as a VP of Prudential Bache and Co. on Wall Street at age 62 and moved to Florida, where he lived a robust life of both service and fun. He was a faithful usher at the Church of the Immaculate Conception and a dedicated member of the Sarasota Elks Club. He lived the last 2 years of his life in good health at the Landmark Center. He was deeply loved and admired by all who met him and now is safely in the hands of our Lord.

Mr. Kuper is survived by 3 children, Robert and Paul Kuper, Astrid Kuper Cole; 9 grandchildren, Christian and Giselle Batcheller, Justin, Scott, Austin and Ian Cole, Brent and Jeffry Kuper and Lindsay Kuper Levine, and 12 great grandchildren, Brooks, Price, Christian, and Kuper Batcheller, Hadley and Ammon Sloop, Addie, Clyne and Lola Belle Cole, Madeline Cole, Reese and Josephine Levine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Risen Lord Catholic Church, 59 Mountain View Loop, Stuart, VA, with the Rev. Ronnie Dolosa presiding. Burial will be in the Incarnation Church Garden in Sarasota, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tim Tebow Foundation through info@timtebowfoundation.org.
