Phillip Ronnie Jessup

Mr. Phillip Ronnie Jessup, 54, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born November 17, 1957, in Forsyth County, to Raymond D. Jessup and the late Ollie Mae Jessup Jessup. Phillip worked in produce industry and was a member of Indian Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Amy Reece Jessup of the home; a daughter, Kari Elizabeth Jessup of the home; his father, Raymond D. Jessup and his wife, Libby, of Mount Airy; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Cynthia Jessup, Deborah and Randy Creed, and Sharon Wilhite, all of Mount Airy; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Rayford and Marie Jessup and Roger Jessup, all of Pilot Mountain, Junior and Judy Jessup of Statesville, Kenneth and Donna Jessup of Westfield, and Bobby and Daisy Jessup of Rural Hall; his mother-in-law, Patsy Tilley Reece of Mount Airy; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Bobby Crouse and Kay and David Puckett, all of Mount Airy; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Mr. Jessup was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Kay Jessup; a brother-in-law, Frank Wilhite; and his father-in-law, James William Reece. The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 8, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Indian Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tommy Floyd and the Rev. Curtis Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Grove Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Indian Grove Baptist Church.
