Mr. Phillip Glenn “Phil” Lambert, age 74 of Mosquite, Nevada, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Grayson County, Virginia on March 20, 1952, to the late Toby and Edna Anders Lambert. Phil was a loving husband, father, grandfather, sibling and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He actively served in the United States Airforce for 16 years, later working in civil service. Left to cherish his memories are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela Boyer and David, Aloma Burnett and Wayne; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry Lambert and Margaret; step-children, Kristi Boyles and Trey, Tish Butcher and Eddie, Savannah Joyce and Kevin; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; special niece, Nicole Atkins; many nieces and nephews; special fur-baby, GiGi. In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dianne Catherine Lambert; sister, Linda Sawyer. A funeral service to honor Phil’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy with the Dr. Jonathan Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens, with full military rites to be provided by the VFW Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM until time of the service. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
