Phyllis Jean Golding

Mrs. Phyllis Jean Golding, age 68 passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. Golding was born February 17, 1955, in Carroll County to Forest Marie Bryant Golding and the late C.J. Golding.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  Surviving are her twin sons, Phil Hawks (Crystal), Neal Hawks (Jennifer); five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Randy Golding (Trudy); Marie Simmons.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Golding was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence, and Luther Golding.  A private service will be held at a later date.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
