Clarence Randolph "Randy" Moore, 59, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Baptist Hospital. Randy was born in Forsyth County, April 18, 1951, to Dorothy Key Moore and the late Clarence Henry "Sam" Moore. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and a dear friend to so many. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Annette Bingman Moore of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patrina and Jeff Hunter of Pilot Mountain and Rekenna and Tim Holt of Siloam; a son and daughter-in-law, Will and Buffey Moore of Pilot Mountain; grandchildren, Alexis Ann Holt, Braiden Lee Hunter, and Cierra McKinzie "Mac" Holt; his mother, Dorothy Key Moore of Ararat; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Donna and Wayne Swift of Mountain Park and Lisa Moore Harris of Winston-Salem; a brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Lisa Chamberlain Moore of Mount Airy; and a niece and three nephews, Megan Matthews, Heath Moore, Ben Swift, and Nick Moore. Randy is also survived by his special buddy, Gus. In addition to his father, Randy was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Moore; and his loving father-in-law, Grady Bingman. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Joseph Fulk and Jimmy Taylor. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moody Funeral Home in honor of Randy.
